Jersey Food Critic

Occasionally I get stuck at Secaucus Junction on my way home from work because I miss the connecting train. I wont’ get into my disdain for NJ Transit right now, however I will let you know about the bar that is in the actual train station called The Junction.

I decided to spend my hour wait by ordering a vodka tonic at the bar. The bartender filled the glass with ice and just as he was about pour the vodka, he turned his back to me so i couldn’t see how much vodka he was putting. HOW RUDE! Needless the drink was very weak.

What establishments like The Junction need to learn is that if they had made the drink reasonably strong i would have sat there for the whole hour and ordered 3-4 more drinks. But instead they decided to be cheap save some money and only got me to buy one drink.

Moreover I doubt the actual owner of the bar realizes that his bartender, spent most of his time stuffing Chinese food in his mouth right infront of the other customers sitting at the bar, talking to them with his mouth full.  Bad manners. Bad customer service. The bartender’s name was Paul.

Ugh, where do i begin? Waiting 15 minutes at the register before anyone comes to help? watching waitresses and waiters pass me by like “someone else is supposed to be at the register.” Or maybe how all the pizza boxes fell on the dirty floor  and the “manager” just picked them up and put pizza  in them (yes the part that touches the pizza hit the floor). Or maybe when the “manager” finally asked if i was picking up and i told her i was waiting for 15 minutes and my pizza has been sitting there and is probably cold she responded “well, do you want it or not?”

oh no wait. I got it. I think it’s the fact that i found a tiny bug crawling around in my pizza!!!!

I can’t believe a Chinese person told me this was the best Chinese in the area! The food SUCKED!
